An easy to use, robust and cost-effective single tube reader

The Ziath DataPaq™ Single-Tube Scanner scans single all 2D datamatrix barcoded tubes. Simply hold the tube to the large scanner window and the code is instantly displayed, or in keyboard wedge mode the code is added directly into your application. The scanner window is mineral glass, to prevent scratching and extending the instrument lifetime.

DataPaq Deep Focus
A strong and robust SBS rack reader; suitable for benchtop use.
The Ziath Deep Focus Single Rack Scanner scans and decodes any SBS format rack of 2D datamatrix. It is extremely tolerant of bad scanning conditions; for example, the Deep Focus can successfully read tubes set on the scanner bed even if they are several millimetres above it (hence it’s name!).

Cryoprotection
Our original passive cryoprotection system allows you to scan multiple racks without requiring heat to protect the scanner.
All Ziath 2D barcode scanners are available with a cryoprotection coating, which prevents the build-up of condensation on the under-side of the scanner window. The occurrence of condensation whilst scanning 2D datamatrix tubes straight from cryogenic storage is well known. Ziath’s proprietary coating completely eliminates the occurance, and ensures uninterrupted scanning. Also, as we do not use an internal fan as the solution, there is no additional noise emitted from our scanner.
